THEY CARED FOR US. NOW WE ARE FAILING THEM.

112 seniors are on a waitlist. Hundreds more are isolated in homes they can’t afford to make safe. We have the money to fix this. We just need the leaders to spend it.

The "Waitlist" Reality

In Kahului today, our "infrastructure" is broken. Not the roads—the families.

  • The Stat: 112 families are waiting for Adult Day Care.

  • The Cost: That is 112 daughters and sons who can't work full-time because they are caregivers. That is 112 elders sitting alone at home.

  • The Reason: The County says the budget is "tight." Yet they found $26 Million to widen Puʻunēnē Avenue.

The Truth: It’s not about money. It’s about priorities.

A Budget is a Moral Document.

If we can afford to pave roads for rental cars, we can afford to care for the people who built those roads. Send a message to the County Council that our Kupuna come first.
